If you aren’t the parent of two or more kids yet, then you have NO CLUE how fast time flies!!! I thought it went quickly with Kye but I was sooo wrong. Brittlynn is getting bigger and older by the minute and I know I need to try to capture all the pictures I can because this baby stage will be gone in an instant. I love that Britt has a “little sister” onesie and I wanted to make sure to get some pictures of them together (Kye wearing the shirt we had made for him for our pregnancy announcement and when Britt was born!) before she outgrows it!
I got them both dressed and headed out back. I LOVE this quilt. I used it before for the chunky pics of Britt. Zach’s great grandmother made it for him and he’s super anal about it. He won’t let me use it very often…I knew he wouldn’t want to risk it getting dirty outside so I laid down a sheet under it so the sheet touched the ground instead of the quilt. No joke, he’s THAT hardcore. I understand not wanting it to get ruined…but I’m not that way with things. I used to be but once my grandmother passed away I like to USE the stuff I have of hers and enjoy it ya know?
Neither of them were too thrilled about the mini photo shoot but I still snapped away and managed to get some cute ones!
Kye’s eyes may not be legit blue anymore, but they are still SUPER sensitive to the sun like mine are!
Love how they both have their feet up!

Whenever I look at pictures of my wonderfully healthy, happy children I just continually think about how much God has blessed me! I couldn’t ask for anything better! Hope everyone has had a Happy Mother’s Day. I am so thankful to my children for making me a mother and helping me discover my passion and purpose in life. There is no better role than that of a mother!

They are both precious. There is such a special bond between big brother and little sister. My kids will tell you they are BFF's and get upset when the other is not around. Kye and Britt are going to have so much fun together and you and going to love watching!
That last shot is great, which makes the whole photoshoot a success!!
Love these!! Super cute!Love that quilt too….haha, random!Happy Mother's Day to one of my favorite mommy friends!!
Love these photos! Bren has the boy version of Britt's shirt, and Bri has a super cute Big Sister shirt. You've inspired me to try a shoot like this! Bri won't hold Bren, but I think she may lay next to him on the ground.
It's really funny that you mentioned your eyes are really sensitive to the sun, because mine are too! Must be a Sedgley thing!
