Boats and Fishing

Our second morning in St Augustine kicked off with breakfast on the porch. Our kids LOVE eating outside. Is that an all-kid kinda thing??? It was a nice cool morning so I didn’t mind it myself 🙂 I let Kye have my free breakfast that morning (since we only got two vouchers each day) and he chowed down!

 BACON!!!

After breakfast we headed down to the marina to see the boats, take some pics, and let the boys do some fishing. It’s become part of our St Augustine tradition which I enjoy! Britt is at a very fun stage where EVERYTHING is amazing to her and she loved seeing all the boats and wildlife outside!

Pirate Ship docked at the marina!

Thanks to Robyn for the cute outfit 🙂 Zach is NOT a fan of the jumper look so Britt doesn’t really have many of them and I enjoyed her getting to wear this one and thought it looked cute for the boat pics!

 World’s Best Daddy

 I love Britt’s face 🙂

 Life with two…

After we checked out all the boats we got ready for the fishing fun but Zach realized he didn’t have any bait. While we waited for him to buy some from the little bait shop at the marina, we played on the stairs. Britt is obbbbbbsessed with stairs. She happily climbed up and down them the entire time we waited!

 First Catch!

 It’s “THIS BIG!”

Britt’s attention span didn’t allow for us to stay with the fisherman for very long. It was SO pretty outside though and I wasn’t in a hurry to go back to the room so I sat with Britt in a shade dock area and let her run around and play a bit. She burned off some energy and I got to enjoy the beautiful weather 🙂 She was being so, so silly and kept running around me in circles and making herself dizzy. An older couple came along and sat and watched her for a while which was sweet. I know she brought some joy to their morning! Here’s a video I took of her running around me!

Once she was totally worn out we headed back to the room while the boys finished up their fishing! She helped me clean up and get our lunch stuff together for our next adventure 🙂
