Britt’s 9th Birthday Letter {From Daddy}

A 9th Birthday Letter to Daughter from Daddy – December 2020

Brittlynn, Happy Birthday!!! It has been such a crazy year. I have had so much fun getting to spend a ton of quality time with you.

You are like me in so many ways. You always want to be outside. Mostly jumping on the trampoline. Haha. You will spend hours out there.

You are getting sooooo tall it is crazy. To be honest you look a little too grown up! It makes me nervous for when you are a teen.

You have the ability to make anything we do fun! You have a joy that you bring to our family when we announce a surprise or are doing something new. I hope that as you grow up you will continue bringing that joy to those around you.

It is such a huge gift to be a positive influence on others and I hope you harness that! I know that when I come home from work and you sprint up to see me and jump in my arms, I am on top of the world. It makes my day every time.

You are also amazing at gymnastics. You truly love it. You practice all the time and I love the drive you have to get better.

I am not sure what your future holds, but I know you will be amazing at setting goals and working towards them. You are learning so many life lessons from the sport.

I want you to always remember that I will always be there for you. You are getting to an age where kids have a hard time understanding the decisions their parents make when it comes to their children’s freedoms and things they are allowed to do. It will probably take a while for you to understand.

I hope you can look back one day and see the wisdom in the decisions we make. I hope we make wise decisions, haha. I hope you see all the love that we have for you.

You are an amazing daughter. I will love you forever.

Love,

Daddy
