To be honest, I enjoy going to pick out our pumpkin each year more than I enjoy the carving of it. I think we all actually feel that way. Poor Zach ends up doing the entire thing himself every year b/c the kids just are NOT into it. See why we only carve ONE pumpkin??? Plus, it’s SO warm down here that they rot MEGA fast. We have to wait to carve it a couple days prior to Halloween just so it won’t rot prior to trick or treating. Kinda takes the fun out of it when you can only enjoy it for a couple days, ya know?
Airplane watching! The perk of living near an air force base 😉

I saw something on fb about how to keep a pumpkin from rotting. It's probably on pinterest too. I remember it required putting the carved pumpkin in a bucket of something lol. Google it! Maybe you can make your pumpkin last a little longer!
Hi Emily! You have really beautiful family. And the photos are just adorable. I really love Halloween for this very same reason: just watching the happy faces of the kids and enjoying their happiness. Pure joy! Happy Holidays to you all! :)Rebecca
