The day after our fabulous Disney adventure was Casey’s legit birthday. It worked out great because they got to be in Orlando for her special day and really celebrate! They went to Sea World for the day with Carter and then she and Jordan had a date night that night π
I was straight up wore OUT after Disney. My sweet husband handled the kids and let me sleep which was amazing! Once I got rolling we gave Tess her little Disney prize (I got her an Itty Bitty from Hallmark when I bought the older kids things).
We originally had planned to drive into Orlando to visit Tom + Chee. We love Shark Tank and have been wanting to try out the restaurant and there is one in Orlando. Butttt we were BEAT and just decided to chill for the morning. We hung out by the pool and let the kids play. It was awesome having a pool at the rental…we could be in our pjs and lounge and not have to worry about other people around π
Haha this is so funny to me!
This. Y’all. This is what a full day at Disney will do to you! Being in the park for 15 straight hours wears you OUT! Zach wore his fitbit in the park and said he ended up walking 9 miles that day and since my steps are way way way smaller than his that I probably walked closer to 11-12 miles. Best work out ever π
It was the first day of FSU football season! GO NOLES!
Tesssssss is tooooo grrrroooownnnn
We eat so healthy on vacation π
Zach surprised me the week prior to our trip with a selfie stick! They are banned at the parks (which is a good thing!) but it’ll still be SUPER helpful for us to have. We travel so much and it’s SO hard to get pics of our entire family…and just of Zach and I too when we go on solo trips! The outtakes of him figuring out how to work it were pretty awesome π
The house we rented had both a living room as well as a full dining and sitting room. Hello playroom π
First use of the selfie stick!
While the kids played I ran across the street to look at the house for sale. We have been going back and forth for a couple years now about potentially investing in a house near Disney. It’s still on the table but isn’t something we’re too serious about at this point. Although it’d be awesome to have a place to go, to earn some rental income, and to get florida resident rates for the park (hello annual passes anyone?). We will see what the future holds! I didn’t LOVE this particular neighborhood but the house was a GREAT layout and ideally if we did buy something I’d for sure want a minimum of 4 bedrooms which these all had!
Tess loved crawling under the coffee table!
We had a SUPER chill morning and felt SO lazy! Don’t worry we did actually venture out and leave the house that afternoon π
