After Chef Mickey Zach, Mr. Rusty, Jordan, Brad and Trey all went golfing. Brad and Trey were more there for moral support and some laughs though 😉 Us girls took the kids back to the condo and I put Brittlynn down for her morning nap. The weather wasn’t so wonderful…the reports called for rain, rain and more RAIN. We figured we’d take advantage of there not being any rain yet and head out to the pool. It was SO COLD. I’m cold natured anyway but overcast weather, a breeze, and chilly water just weren’t a good mix for me. Casey stayed back in the room to rest so she was there if Brittlynn did happen to wake up or anything (Which she never does. I could go run errands while she napped if I wanted to hhaha..KIDDING…). While us adults were chilly, the kids didn’t mind. They were pruned and purple but still having a blast!
Colt looks like he’s too cool for whatever Kye is so thrilled about!
We headed back up to the room in time for me to nurse Brittlynn. The older kids play so well together so it’s really easy to have them all. They were fun to watch and Payton was SO interested in how I was feeding Brittlynn. I’m always super careful to make sure people don’t mind me nursing in front of them or their children. I know not everyone is comfortable with it, but Courtney didn’t mind. I didn’t announce it or anything (“Hey kids! Come watch me feed a baby out of my breasts!” haha) I just did my thing while they played. It was Brittlynn’s first time traveling while eating solids. I’m not crazy about our travel seat for this type of feeding method. There was too big of a gap so a LOT of the food was on the floor and in the seat instead of in her mouth. She didn’t mind it though 🙂
Big kid picnic!
All the kids went down for their naps at 1. Pretty much everyone else napped too. Except for me. I’m not a big napper. Unless I get a GOOD nap it just puts me in a funky mood and I didn’t want that so I just hung out with whoever woke up. We had some good conversations 🙂 If it had been prettier we would have laid out…but it wasn’t nice enough for that. Jolee and Casey did go to the pool and Courtney went down with them for a bit. I enjoyed watching Brittlynn on the monitor and saw that she figured out how to go from laying down to sitting up for the first time!!! It was July 23rd 🙂

Big girl!
Once all the kids were up from their naps we went back to the pool. This time we walked down a bit and found a pool with a big waterfall thing. It was one of those times I was SO thankful to have a little baby…I did not want to get in that cold water and was perfectly content watching Brittlynn (the water was much too chilly to take her in). 🙂 Babies can come in handy!

happy to be watching the action
Brittlynn was in a funny face mood that day too…these are so random of her…
haha

Casey was a genius on the walk back and flagged down a golf cart that gave us all a ride! Score! Britt went down for her evening nap and we went ahead and bathed the older kids so they could go straight to bed after dinner. We had a BIG day coming up the next day and wanted them nice a rested! All three big kids took a bath together but Colt wasn’t in a happy mood so I just got pics of Kye and Payton 🙂
watch out Payton…
Her face is priceless
To keep the kids nice and chill while we all got dinner ready we put on a movie. I think they watched one of the Toy Story ones? Our first night there (Friday night) some of the family from Mrs. Charlotte’s side came to the condo to visit. We were all getting in and settled and enjoyed seeing them for a couple of hours when we arrived! Saturday night we planned to celebrate Mr. Rusty’s birthday. His birthday was that coming Monday but Saturday night was the only night we’d all be together. Mrs. Charlotte made chili and hot dogs and we all just chilled, ate and enjoyed each other! We put all the kids to bed as early as possible. We ended up all kinda spreading out that night hanging out in different areas and talking. It was fun although next year we WILL be playing some kind of board game!!! Jordan was disappointed that no one thought to pack playing cards 😉
