My 33rd Birthday

My birthday fell on a Wednesday this year which is always a pretty c-razy day for our family BUT on the upside it meant I had the ENTIRE MORNING to myself! Tess goes to school on Wednesdays so I could be in total chill mode.

Zach was so sweet to make the kids breakfasts and pack their lunches which really set the tone for a GREAT day! Even the littlest things can really make an impact and make a day extra special πŸ™‚ On my way back from dropping off Tess I went through and got my free Starbucks. The fun thing about a Nov 1st bday is that it’s the day Starbucks releases their holiday drinks. Free fun drink for me!

I couldn’t find a place that did free breakfast but I do love me an egg mcmuffin (with peanubutter YUM) and I just chilled and watched This Is Us

I had two gift cards I’d been saving for awhile and decided to put them to good use on my birthday! Who doesn’t love a bday massage?

I did a one hour full body massage and then added on a 30 minute sinus massage. It was LIFE CHANGING yall. If you have sinus issues, or even if you don’t think you do, you NEED to get a sinus massage.

A few months back I noticed puffiness in my cheeks and I went to my skin girl and she said she thought it was sinus buildup. I figured I’d try out the sinus massage. At first the therapist said she didn’t think I had any sinus issues since I didn’t have any pain etc. But then she went to work and DANG it was painful but INSTANTLY I felt lighter and could breathe easier and my puffiness went away! I totally plan on doing this again and getting Zach to do it too!

I got home to a sweet gift from my MIL for my bday! A couple cute holiday signs and a shirt!

DUH. Totally picked up my FREE Chicken Salad Chick for lunch!

Finished This Is Us from that morning

And treated myself to some laying out during naps annnnnd

took my TIME showering and getting ready for dinner. I love having lots of time to just get ready!

Before dinner we opened gifts!

Zach went above and beyond!

I have been making kinda a big deal about my 33rd birthday. 33 is my lucky number so I’ve been not-so-subtley dropping hints that it should be a SUPER BIG birthday since it’s my lucky year and all πŸ˜‰

He got the hint haha!

He planned a big Disney trip for just the two of us which was SO sweet!

With Tab’s due date we didn’t feel like we could travel that close to her due date (the original 11/16 one) so he told me the plans for my birthday and we are going to do a combo my birthday/our christmas/our anniversary trip in May! I cannot WAIT!

He also got me a pop socket and will give me a Disney coffee scoop someday haha

My dad and Audrey sent me one of the most thoughtful gifts! A cross necklace in my birth stone πŸ™‚ It seriously made me cry and meant so much to me!!!

Time for dinner at Aligatu!

I drink ALL THE SOUPS!

Our kids are chopstick pros

We did an early dinner (had the girls skip gymnastics) and then went to church. I was under strict instructions of NO CHIT-CHAT after class so we could get home and eat CAKE!

She stole my birthday wish πŸ˜‰

My husband is, duh, very attractive and it often comes in handy. The girl at DQ must have had a crush because she randomly told him he could have the cake FOR FREE.

Lucky 33rd year is starting for sure πŸ™‚

So many sweet birthday wishes from my amazing friends!

Robyn

Keeli

Casey

Katie!

For the Parker celebration we decided to do a big breakfast which worked out PERFECTLY! It worked with everyone’s schedule and we all had a blast!

Big Daddy went on and on about how my cake was the prettiest cake ever πŸ˜‰

It was a wonderful morning, especially due to Big Daddy. He wanted to know every single detail of our adoption and match with Mama E. I sat and talked to him for a solid 30 min or so and loved every second of it. I love that he is genuinely interested and wants to learn and understand. He’s a man of pure GOLD for sure! I’m so thankful for him and the bond we share. I love my Big Daddy!

Katie came over shortly after my birthday to celebrate and she brought an EPIC cake. It’s a big ice cream cookie sandwich (you can get it at Publix) and we all LOVED IT.

She also won the gift prize this year with a UNICORN ONESIE.

My life is COMPLETE.

It’s a total flashback to a childhood Halloween costume I had πŸ™‚

Tess wore her unicorn pjs and found us matching unicorn friends πŸ™‚

We ended the night with Mario Kart racing! Katie, Zach, and I have so many college days memories of Mario Kart and it’s so fun that the three of us now play with our kids πŸ™‚

I had an amazing birthday and have to say it was the perfect start to my LUCKY YEAR! I just know there are so many joys heading my way while I’m 33 πŸ™‚
