After having Brittlynn several people have told me that they are interested to see what her style will be like. I guess Kye has a specific look? I just have always dressed him in a kids version of stuff that I would buy for Zach! With Brittlynn I am the same way…I try to find things for her that I, too, would wear. I’m sure her “style” will develop with time, and as she gets big enough to have more options, but I’ve always known that my daughter wouldn’t be wearing big flower stuff in her hair. It is just reallllly not my style. A TON of people put their daughters in headbands and hats with big flowers and often I’ll even think they are cute…but I just can’t see my own child in it!
I enjoy shopping on Zulily (Have you tried it?? If not check it out here! TONS of great deals!!!) and one day I saw this hat on sale for only $3.00. In the picture the flower did not look 1/3 as big as it did when the hat arrived…I about died! Rather than wasting the money on return shipping I thought I’d try it out. I mean, maybe, it would be my style after all? Um. It isn’t. I laughed while taking all of these, I laugh when looking at them and I think Brittlynn will get a good laugh out of them too someday!
Zach saw these pictures earlier today and said “omg what is on her head?!?!” haha.

The flower is too funny!I am the SAME way when it comes to the "flower headbands" I only used one once on Kylie. She looks like shes saying "Thanks Mom!" in the second one from the bottom. The pictures are adorable!
I have always put Brianna in big bows, headbands, and yes, even flowers. But, HOLY COW that flower is HUGE and over-the-top!!! I had to laugh at these photos… they look like Brittlynn shouldn't even be able to hold her head up under that thing, lol!
LOL, the funny thing about this story is when I had Preslei, I was OBSESSED with the HUGE bows and she was the ONLY baby around here that wore them and she was known for her hairbows, seriously. Even when we would go to Tallahassee, I NEVER saw any baby/toddler wearing them and we got stopped constantly about where I bought her bow from. Now that I'm having another girl, I know that the BIG bows are not going to be her style. Now that almost everyone puts them on their little girls, I'm like, "ehhh…." and I want Annalise's style to be more of that sweet and innocent little girl look. Of course, she will still have bows but the sweet LITTLE bows, LOL. I'll have to do a blog entry on some of Preslei's HUGE bows and dedicate it to you, HAHAHA!!!! I just love how my style and tastes have changed in just a matter of 4 years!
Well, as you know, little Hannah-Banana is quite the "Large-Flower-Wearing-Baby" of which you speak… but being honest that thing is a bit over the top, even for her!! Its a good try, though… proud of you for test-driving it, especially for only $3.00!!
Buah hahahah! She doesn't look amused one bit! Too funny. It is cute, I guess. But I am with you on it. That junk is BIG! 😉
Hahaha… totally NOT my style either! lol! That flower is EATING her head! 🙂
Lol! She looks like she just KNOWS that it looks a little funny!
the hat looks cute on her but that flower is HUGE.
I just stumbled across your blog and Oh. My. Word. That is HILARIOUS!!! I'm a big bow momma but even that flower is rediculous!!!
This post cracked me up! I cam just picture your reaction when you opened the package!
If our next child is a girl I want to do some bows and flowers but nothing crazy like that. I think some people are a little over the top with the flowers and bows.
That is the stupidest head accessory I have ever seen. Although I do think Britt will need some of these: http://store.polkadotposies.com/65-inch-a65.html http://caryhairbows.com/category_8/Totally-Custom-Bows.htmhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/snugars
