Orlando Trip ~ McDonalds!

So did you know that the world’s largest McDonald’s is actually in Orlando??? You’re welcome 🙂 When Zach and I were planning our trip we decided that it would be a great place to go! Inexpensive, something Kye loves, and FUN!!!

Who doesn’t have memories of sitting on Ronald as a kid?!?!

If you haven’t been there before, then go. Like for real. This place was old school awesomeness. I had been when I was younger but didn’t really remember it. Zach and I both loved it. And the kids did too! They had a HUGE play place that Kye went nuts over and even an area for babies/toddlers to play. I was shocked how quickly Brittlynn got into playing. Usually she’s slow to warm up to new environments but she was off and crawling all over the place!

Of course she had her little dog with her (I NEED to wash that thing…)

My favorite thing…she LOVED this tunnel!!!

Here’s a video!

It was SO fun seeing HER have fun!!!

Kye was mildly jealous of her attention and wanted his own 😉

action jumping shot!

Other than the play ground they also had an arcade area. We agreed to spend $2 on games and were actually able to play quite a few for that amount! I’m working SO HARD on parenting to the hearts of my children and using every tool to teach them about God. Kye wanted to play more games so I took that opportunity to talk to him about being good stewards with our money and how God calls us to spend wisely and that playing more games wouldn’t be spending wisely 😉

Just like his Daddy…he loved any of the games that involved throwing a ball!

My favorite arcade game is the hit the mole one…

I am LOVING that this dress was TOO SMALL when I bought it but now it’s baggy on me (Go Advocare!)

I was pretty intense about it 😉

Check out Britt’s one-eyed Burgler 😉

Zach’s turn 🙂

We kept having Ronald issues. It was too sunny outside and too dark inside 🙁

Gotta love the classic plastic fake food display!

In an effort to both save some money and stick to our Advocare Challenge eating plan we opted to just buy Kye dinner. I got some apple slices for a snack to hold me over and we ate dinner that night once the kids were in bed. Kye loved his chicken and fries! And honestly I LOVE McDonald’s Happy Meals! With Chick-Fil-A you’re forced to choose between fries or fruit, with McDonald’s you get both and they give such a small portion of fries which is awesome!!! Kye still gets his fix but for much less calories!

Britt was happy with her stars!

I love love love this picture. This is how she typically looks. The camera doesn’t capture her cuteness most of the time!!!

He earned some tickets with the games we played and got to get some prizes. Zach and I both encouraged the popper. Remember those???

Wild Child was CRACKING UP!

Last attempts with Ronald!

We let Kye get an ice cream so he had a beautiful blue mouth!

It was a SUPER fun way to end the trip!!! We got up super early the next morning and were back home before Brittlynn’s nursing time at 11. I am SO thankful we went away for a nice relaxing trip just the four of us. It was truly a blessing for us all, but most of all for me. I am a person who feels suffocated when stuck at home too much and as a stay-at-home mom I’m home a lot. So this was a much-needed vacation!!! I truly did surprise myself by LOVING the slow flow of everything and just being relaxed and go with the flow the whole time. We may attempt more trips like this in the future, none of us ever wanted to leave!!!
