I’m linking up with my fellow South Georgian, Jamie at This Kind of Love, to share what I’m lovin’ this week!
I’m loving that we have an official date to CLOSE on this house!!! After living here for almost four MONTHS we will supposedly close this Friday! Yay!
I’m loving that this past weekend we got to have one of my good long-term friends, Chelsi, and her fiancee, Chad for dinner! Chelsi just moved to Tifton which is only about 40 min away and I’m so thrilled to finally have a high school buddy nearby. It was wonderful to catch up with them and I’m excited for their wedding this May!
I’m loving that Friday night Kye is staying with Gramma so Daddy and Mommy can FINALLY have a date night! We literally haven’t been on a date since our second trip to Ikea…over a month ago. We deserve a fun night together and I’m hoping Zach makes some good plans for me (he reads this so it’s a good way to drop a HINT!)
I’m loving that Saturday morning our church is having a marriage seminar! If you’re local and you’re married, engaged, or just plan to be married someday then you should stop by Central Avenue Church of Christ and join us! It’ll start at 8:15 with a free breakfast and get over at noon. I can’t WAIT to fellowship with other married couples and learn how to grow our marriage closer to God!
I’m loving that all the Oscar movies I missed out on before Oscar season are finally out to rent! I can’t wait to see Black Swan, The Fighter, and The King’s Speech!!! Are they all as good as I’m hoping???
I’m loving that Kye is sleeping SO much better for naps this week! He’s been waking up at around 2 every day since we got rid of the paci and it’s be tough to hear him cry in his crib until nap time is over, I can get SO much more done when he actually SLEEPS π
I’m loving my amazing friends! Danielle is SO sweet and thoughtful! I’ve been wanting a good devotional book and she sent me her favorite in the mail…Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets them Free. I can’t WAIT to start reading it!!!
I’m loving having a new blog friend to follow! Larissa is newly engaged and I’m SO excited to read all about the planning process (and be envious that she’s a bride and I’m not anymore!). You can read her blog here and help encourage her to keep it up! Having the memories is SO worth the time right???
I’m loving that I spent time this morning getting all of our finances written out in an Excel spreadsheet. After Zach’s back surgery we’ve had a LOT of medical bills and it’s time to get the financial freedom we desire. We’re going to attack that debt Dave Ramsey style baby!!! If you haven’t read his book, it’s a life changer. I can’t wait to watch how quickly the bills disappear π
I’m loving that I’m on a eat-healthy kick for the first time in my LIFE. I tried on a totally mom-ish tankini bathing suit the other day and could have barfed. I look disgusting. I want to lose weight but I honestly want to do it in a HEALTHY way! It’s crazy how easy it is to change…just by writing down everything I eat (and keeping track of the Weight Watchers points) I do SO much better. I’m also trying to do crunches every day and need to get back to my morning walks. It’s just tough when we are so go-go-go right now!
I’m loving that Katie and I OFFICIALLY booked our trip to VEGAS in September! She’s never flown before so that in itself will be an adventure. And neither of us have ever been to Las Vegas (really I never planned on it…I don’t drink, don’t party, don’t gamble…what would I do?!?) However, we found a reason to go out there!!! We’re totally pumped about attending The Vegas Bash and getting to meet a TON of our favorite reality stars!!! I know, it sounds like we’re totally lame but whatever…you KNOW you’d like to meet them too. My personal favorite celeb who we’ll be meeting? Russell DUH!!!!
I’m loving that tonight my two colleges are playing each other in baseball! We were totally hoping to go to Tallahassee for the game but Zach won’t be off work in time (boo). It’s rare that a D-1 school plays a D-2 school and it’s hard to know to root for. Do I go with my alma mater Valdosta State, or with my team from birth, Florida State? I love the ‘Noles but it’d be awesome to see the Blazers pull out a win ya know?
I’m loving that all of YOU have loved Kye’s 2 year professional pics and that I get to decide how to display them in the new house! This one needs a special spot for sure π
Hope everyone is having a great week! I love seeing my “blogs I follow” list filled with everyone sharing what they love on Wednesdays – such a fun blog day π
