Jordan and Casey were heading back home on Day 3 of our trip and the golf portion of Zach’s birthday gift began! For Monday Mr. Rusty and I had decided to schedule 36 holes of golf at Orange County golf course. They had played the course before and really enjoyed it! I trusted Mr. Rusty when it came to that decision 😉 They ended up getting some awesome deal for the day that included a free lunch and unlimited holes of golf. For probably the first, and last time, I said “play as long as you want!” haha!
Mrs. Charlotte came over to our condo as soon as Zach left, which was right when we were all waking up. She was, as usual, a HUGE blessing to me!!! She really helped take care of the older kids so I could continue to give Tess my best and to get the rest I needed. They had a blast with G-Mama and she had a good time too!
First up: cinnamon rolls for breakfast!
Had to get some Tess loving 🙂
Zach and Mr. Rusty were having a great time!
When Tess went down for her first nap I took the kids to the pool for a bit before I needed to come back and pump for her 10:00 bottle at the pool 😉 This trip was mostly a swimming trip for Kye and Britt. Even though we have a pool in our backyard, they really enjoyed getting to swim so much! Britt has become quite the swimmer now after all that practice!
They were allowed to sit on the edge of the hot tub!
Where is Britt?
I took the kids back and Mrs. Charlotte took them to the pool again while I pumped then I met them back down there with Tess at 10. By then…they were OVER swimming! I felt bad but I didn’t really have another option. It was time for Tess to eat! I knew we would have a different routine for the next day to insure they would be enjoying the pool still when I brought her out with her bottle.
Pebbles 🙂
Zach was pretty excited about the free lunch!
And he even bought a new hat for himself. Hey it’s your birthday…treat yo self, right?!?!
After Tess ate her bottle I hurried back to put her down for nap and Mrs. Charlotte took Kye and Britt to go play putt putt while I got lunch together. Oh gosh what a disaster! The activity center was just not with it like they should have been and both kids ended up in tears over it all. They couldn’t play putt putt and didn’t have much time to do anything else so they headed back. It was a good lesson in that things don’t always go our way (tough for Kye..he’s a planner like his mama and I know I get upset when my plans don’t work out too so I can’t blame him too much!). We worked it out for them to go play after nap time. They had a nice early lunch and got down for naps and then when they woke up they headed to play!
That afternoon we ordered pizza and told the men that it’d be waiting on them whenever they got back! The kids, again, had a bath while I nursed Tess and we had some time to all be together before they went down for their early bedtime.
We had some time to play a game and we played Go Fish. For the first time ever: BRITT WON at something! Haha! She was SO excited and I was so proud of Kye for being excited for her 🙂
Zach and Mr. Rusty didn’t get back until after 8 but they had a great day of golf and had another one coming up the next day! The day went VERY smoothly and I was so thankful to have Mrs. Charlotte there. I would have been fine on my own…but Kye and Britt wouldn’t’ have been able to go and do and have the fun vacation they were able to have and Tess wouldn’t have been able to have her solid sleep schedule like she was able to have!
